It’s been less than a year since Stevie Hart arrived in Porn Valley— and already the New York transplant has been making waves (and partnering up with more than a few of the industry’s most desirable co-stars).

Between landing AVN Hall Of Famer Mr. Marcus for her first onscreen sex scene and Belladonna for her first girl-girl, Stevie’s shown impeccable taste in who she shoots with—and she’s also impressed with her ability to hold her own with some very experienced stars. We sat down with Stevie to find out what she’s been up to—and to learn what it’s like to be the new girl in Porn Valley.

You’ve been working in adult entertainment for less than a year. What made you decide to start working as a porn performer?
It’s something I’d always had in the back of my mind since before I was even old enough to do it. I’d ignored it for years and focused on getting a degree and all that jazz, but I found myself in LA after I graduated and one night out of boredom and frustration with my desk job, I called a friend Odi (who is big into porn) back in New York and told him about my desire to fuck on camera.

He hooked me up with his friend Angie who was working for AVN at the time and she’s been so much help and a great friend ever since. She got me in touch with Eon McKai at Vivid Alt and he invited me to come see how it all goes down on a set and I loved it.

I also was friends (via Odi) with Malachi Ecks, who gave me Van Styles’ contact info. Van booked me for my first scene with Mr. Marcus, which happened about a week after I made that initial phone call to Odi.

Was there anything about working in porn that surprised you?
It’s a lot more of a legit business than I’d expected which impressed me. But at the same time, there is a lot more discrimination and racism within it than I thought there would be which really disappoints me.

Of the scenes you’ve shot so far, which is your favourite?
I can’t really say only one… My first scene for Voyeur Media’s “Souled Out 3″ (with Mr. Marcus) was an incredibly positive first experience in porn.

The scene I did (with Vin Vericose and Kasha Bella) for Vivid Alt’s “Art School Girls are Easy” was awesome, Eon McKai and Octavio Winkytiki both are so non-traditional with their vision and more artistic than everyone I’ve worked with.

Vin and Kasha were hot too, obviously. My first anal (with Mr. Pete) for Jenna Haze’s movie that I don’t know the title of was HOT, Mr. Pete was great to work along side and I really love a good ass fucking. I enjoyed shooting my solo scene for “Popporn’s Guide to Making Fuck” a lot, too.

My first and only girl/girl with Belladonna was incredible, but I’ll get into that in a few questions.

What makes someone a good co-star?
I think it’s easier to work with people in ANY job if they are passionate about what they are doing. Smelling nice doesn’t hurt in porn, though =)

Is there any star you’re really, really hoping to work with?
Manuel Ferrara!! Kristina Rose always tells me he’s her favorite co-star and he’s stupid hot.

When you started working in the industry, you said you weren’t interested in G/G scenes, with the exception of doing a scene with Belladonna. What is it about Belladonna that made her your exception?
She’s always someone I’ve looked up to in this business. She’s come so far and done so by keeping her own style and I really respect and admire that.

Every time I’d met or seen her after starting in the business I was always amazed with this positive energy and kindness about her, too. And come on, its HER.

I remember being in the dorms at school and leaving the dirtiest stuff of hers I could find as peoples desktop pictures when I borrowed their computers. She’s always pushing boundaries and being herself through it all. That’s really sexy to me.

Has working with Belladonna changed your feelings about g/g scenes?
I knew I had to try everything once, so I gave it a shot. She was a blast to work with, she made me feel SO sexy, confident and comfortable despite having almost no idea what to do with her.

No disrespect to her at all, but it was just like foreplay to me. I had a few orgasms (she did too and I so tripped over that. I made HER cum!!!) but I went home wanting cock. So, no more g/g scenes. However, I’m a lot more open to b/g/g’s now.

When you’re not shooting hot porn, how do you like to spend your time?
Having hot sex off camera!! =) I paint and draw a lot. I’ve been doing murals in rooms in my house and will be doing one in Bella’s house and possibly Steve Dollar from adultdvdtalk.com apartment soon too!

I’ve been having a blast exploring California and driving around. I got a convertible last August and have put about 10 thousand miles on it since. I take a lot of pictures while I’m cruising around, too. I lay in the sun whenever I can. I love the beaches and even just laying out by my pool. California’s weather is flawless and I take every opportunity I get to enjoy it.
